rasta pasta primavera, sdt pate, pickles

dinner tonight consisted of a pasta dish called rasta pasta primavera w/ yellow zucchini, brussels sprouts, shiitake mushrooms, broccolini, gypsy peppers, onion, red bell pepper and kalamata olives out of the vegan fusion cookbook accompanied by a sundried tomato pate served on lettuce leaves.




also fermentation update woot. the first pics are of everything fermenting in the house right now; 3 batches of pickles, 1 batch of beets and radish, 2 batches of sauerkraut, and 2 jars in the fridge that i forgot to get pics of.
the next pic is a close up of the sandwich slice style pickles i started tonight with dill, chili pepper, garlic, mustard seed and fresh ground black pepper.
the last 2 pics are close ups of the chioggia beets and a variety of colored radishes fermenting with mustard seed and garlic.





soon i hope to have some zucchini, jalapeno, a relish, and some homemade tobasco sauce started.
